Robert Kröni (born in 1957) graduated in the Swiss Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich) in 1981 with a master degree in civil engineering. He added some postgraduate studies in energy efficiency and business administration.
Robert Kröni has 25 years of experience in solar power plant construction and operation. He has worked in several engineering companies for energy efficiency and engineering of solar power plants. He has cofounded Edisun Power, an investor in solar power plants, grew it up and listed it to the Swiss Stock Exchange In 2008.
In 2009 Robert Kröni moved to Innotech Solar, a Norwegian Module producer. There he was EVP Power Plants and responsible for the development of Solar Power Plants, where ITS modules were being used. In 2012 he bought ITS Power in a management buy out, renamed it to Jendra Power an transformed it into a consulting company.
He has acquired in 2014 the qualification of a TÜV certified expert for photovoltaic equipment.
